Setting Up For Class

Mahi Etiquette

Be kind. Honour the quiet space when entering the yoga room. Keep voices low or off. No electronics – phones, iWatches.

Be still. Stay for savasana. It’s the most important part, to be savoured and appreciated, to say thank you to your body.

Be responsible. Inform your teacher of any injuries. A key part of practice is to take responsibility for our bodies. Some teachers will offer hands-on assists. If you aren’t comfortable with hands-on, simply let your teacher know.

Your Sanctuary

Though the studio is above a busy intersection, at Mahi you'll feel a sense of arriving at a place of sanctuary where you can let go of your day and focus on what your body and mind need to refresh and recharge.

Meditation Room

In our new Meditation Room we host workshops, retreats and private classes.

Sustainable Practices

We're working to minimise our impact on the environment, so we provide filtered water for your multi-bottle use (we don't sell plastic water bottles.) We do our best to provide soaps and hair care products that are eco-friendly.

“Beautifully refurbished studio, great kaupapa and truly excellent teachers.”
