LeeAnna Iseral
LeeAnna is originally from the culturally-rich south of Louisiana, USA. Prior to arriving in Aotearoa, she lived and worked in Switzerland and Myanmar (Burma). LeeAnna is a certified Yoga Teacher (200hr RYT) and has completed over 150 hours of Continued Education— learning within the realms of both Yoga and meditation. She teaches Vinyasa classes based in the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga.
LeeAnna has had the honor and privilege of training under David Swenson, as well as many other world-renowned Yoga teachers.
She is also an affiliated teacher of the Yoga Education in Prisons Trust, and offers Yoga to Mount Eden Correctional Facility.
LeeAnna's classes are rooted in the bedrock of Vinyasa and Sun-salutations, but strive to achieve the right effort and balance for everyone's greatest benefit. She believes true strength is the ability to engage and release.
You can expect aspects of a strong practice to create more energy within yourself, and a solid relaxation that reminds us that stillness is always within our reach. She is a firm believer that the benefits of Yoga are much further-reaching than just those of a physical practice, and connect us to much more than only ourselves.
Kaore i hangaia te kupenga hei hopu ika anake,
engari i hangaia kia oioi i roto i te nekeneke o te tai.
The net is not fashioned purely to catch fish,
but to be flexible so that it may flow with the currents of the sea
