Kate Montgomery
Kate has been practicing yoga for almost 20 years. She is a registered embodied flow yoga teacher (with extra certifications in restorative and yin yoga), a kinstretch instructor and meditation teacher.
Kate credits yoga with starting to put her body and mind back together after multiple surgeries for Crohn’s disease. Recovering from several surgeries also led Kate to two other modalities – functional range conditioning and weightlifting. These helped her deal with pain and dysfunction, and even made her better at yoga.
Kate went on to qualify as a personal trainer, in Functional Range Assessment and Functional Range Conditioning Mobility specialist. Learn more on her website.
Kinstretch is the ‘group’ class of Functional Range Conditioning, and Kate has found it a perfect complement to all yoga practices.
