Juan David Diaz

A 'humble warrior' who grew up in Colombia, Juan's profound curiosity for ancient techniques to gain a deeper understanding of existence and the self opened a portal to his now 15 years long yogic pathway.  Influenced by Ashtanga and Iyenga, Juan is experienced in vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga.

Juan's primary teacher was YogaWorks founder Maty Ezraty. He has also studied with senior Iyengar teachers around the world, with the Iyengar Family at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune and did his first formal teacher training in New Zealand at the Wellpark College of Natural Therapies.

In recent years he has been Simon Park's assistant and has created teacher trainings and workshops across Europe. His passion and curiosity for this path inspires him to learn and keep studying yoga.

Juan’s teaching style is dynamic, challenging and fun. He emphasises proper alignment by guiding you to a safe space for the body to express its own unique way of embodying the posture. You will flow through asanas, integrating breath with movement and helping the mind to reach stillness to go deeper into the practice. He concludes his classes through guided meditations, accompanied by the sound of his flute – transforming the class into a holistic experience for the entire being.
